The room is clean and equipped with central heating, pay TV, and a microwave. the beds are exceptionally comfortable. the location is good and comfy, with restaurants, stores, and historic downtown nearby. the staff is very nice, which is an advantage.

price was the lowest at the time of booking

We asked for non-smoking room when we booked..Upon arrival we were She shown 2 rooms....they had both been smoked in but one smelled worse that the other..the odor had been attempted to be covered up with a deodarnat spray that bothered me all night. I don't appreciated being lied to. We checked in at abut 1600 and was told that those were the only rooms left. She said that they were both non smoking rooms and it was obvious that was NOT true.

I didn't like it, from the roaches to drunken neighbors and from dirty sheets to a shifty manager it was not pleasant. We needed to stay in town longer but I was very glad I only got rooms there for one night.

Roaches, dirty rooms, doors that were hard to open poor lighting, electrical problems bad parking... It was the last place in town with something available even though other places were cheaper, staying there I could see why.

This place is cool and great for staying with a nice location off the main road, enjoyed my time here.

It was a clean quiet motel.

Advertised free wifi and we could never connect, that and pricing were the reasons we chose the motel.

The location was comfortable and nice, off the main road, and the room was updated, impeccably clean, and had an air conditioner.

Not much, but I do have to say the people running the place were very nice and tried to make things better but it just could not happen because of the condition of the rooms. Good general location but that is about it.

Rooms were not very clean at all, not maintained very well, toilet seat was loose and did not fit the toilet, showers were very short and tubs had permanent scum let alone the sinks, not very warm for winter months, linen and beds were scary,smelled funky, carpet was the worst and so was bathroom floor to be sure ! Don't stay there unless you really have to ! I suggest the Motel 6 in Globe for a few dollars more. Way better ! I had a 3 day stay in Globe and I had to move to Motel 6 after the first night in the El Rey !

Conveniently located right in the heart of town. 📍

It's a very old motel & really needs refurbishing. The phone & radio clock were covered in dust. I think the rates they are charging are comparable to far superior motels/hotels.

I was happy with hotel's convenient and exceptionally nice location in the middle of jackson. Location: the venue was short walk to historic downtown, restaurants and historic downtown and near bye stores. A lot of restaurants to eat close by, like Nurd Berger that was only 20 minutes' walk away...
